The Water Poet's chef Max Holba is delighted to introduce his A La Carte menu to the beloved pub’s front dining room this February.
Max, who appeared on Masterchef: The Professionals in 2016, has stayed true to love of cooking within the pub world focussing on fantastic ingredients, treated well, without the fussiness of fine dining.
Max plans to elevate the Water Poet’s menu while staying true to the pub’s soul. His flair can be seen in the newly opened dining room where a fine-dining-meets-pub-food a la carte menu can be enjoyed in the warm atmosphere of the Water Poet. Having been given free reign over ingredients, suppliers and menu, Max is excited to offer customers a well sourced, seasonal, sustainable menu, with breads from the in-house bakery.
The a la carte menu will be available Monday-Friday evenings from 6pm, with some dishes available as part of a two- or three-course set menu at £15 or £20 respectively.
On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, any two- or three- course order will come with a complimentary glass of wine, paired with the main course.
The menu will change regularly with a strong focus on seasonality.
