Acoustic Charity Night - Project Parent

It's been a hot minute - but we are back! Join us on Monday 4th December for a night of chilled music, drinks and as always a very important cause we're raising awareness for.

This time we're supporting Project Parent. Project Parent was founded and is run by Kate Stanforth who is also chronically ill. Project Parent's main aim is to provide gift boxes to the parents of children who are in hospital over Christmas. While in hospital, the children are given gifts and are looked after (as they should be!) but we all often forget that the parents are also forced to stay positive but hospitals just don't have the resources to also provide for the parents too. That's where Project Parent comes in.
They currently work with hospitals in Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, York and London. They also provide a small amount of gift boxes to parents who are looking after chronically ill children throughout the year, even if they aren't hospitalised and support other small organisations like Post Pals.

As always, we'll be helped out by some great artists. Here's a couple just to get you excited:

Alex & Helen
After completing their last world tour, Alex and Helen had a falling out and said they'd never sing together again. We've managed to bring them back together through the power of Christmas for one night only. They'll be performing a mixture of classic hits and original music.

Katherine Wyatt
The queen of chutney has left her steaming stove for one night only to grace us with her soulful vocals. She'll be singing a range of acoustic covers that are bound to get you in the Christmas spirit. Ps. She's single, sassy and stinking of chutney.

We'll be announcing a couple more throughout the week so keep checking back.

£5 entry on the door: All proceeds will be donated to Project Parent - so come along and help us make a few families' Christmas'!
